Meine Aufgaben als Podologe sind vielfältig. Sie reichen von der Vorbeugung von Erkrankungen bis zur frühzeitigen Erkennung von Veränderungen am Fuß, die eine ärztliche Behandlung erfordern.
Außerdem ist der Bereich der Pflege ein wichtiger Teil der podologischen Arbeit. Hierzu kann sowohl die Behandlung gesunder als auch die spezielle Behandlung von erkrankten Füßen zählen.
Als Podologe werde ich entweder aufgrund einer ärztlichen Verordnung tätig oder entscheide eigenständig welche Maßnahmen für Sie geeignet sind. Hierzu verfüge ich über ein weitreichendes Fachwissen und Berufserfahrung.
Fachgerecht, unter Einhaltung allgemeiner Hygieneregeln & in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Ärzten arbeite ich daran, ihre Füße dauerhaft gesund zu erhalten oder langfristig wieder gesund zu pflegen.

Podologie ist der Fachbegriff für die medizinische Fußpflege. Sie umfasst therapeutische Maßnahmen rund um den Fuß. In Abgrenzung zur kosmetischen Fußpflege, die vor allem das Pflegen und Verschönern gesunder Füße umfasst, steht bei der medizinischen Fußpflege die Gesundheit der Füße im Vordergrund, denn hier findet eine Ursachenbehandlung statt. Deshalb sollten Sie bei gesundheitlichen Problemen an Ihren Füßen einen Podologen aufsuchen. Das kann zum Beispiel in folgenden Situationen wichtig sein:
Außerdem zählen besonders Diabetiker zu Risikopatienten, da das Risiko am diabetischen Fußsyndrom zu erkranken, besonders hoch ist. Ihr Haut ist dann besonders trocken und rissig und damit anfällig für Verletzungen.
Doch auch wenn Sie noch keine akuten Schmerzen haben, kann eine gute Pflege Erkrankungen und Beschwerden vorbeugen.
Meine Aufgaben umfassen den gesamten Bereich der medizinischen Fußpflege, von der Beratung bis zur medizinisch begründeten Behandlung. Auch klassische Tätigkeiten der Fußpflege übernehme ich für Sie.
Als Podologe ist es zu Beginn erst einmal meine Aufgabe, Sie fachgerecht zu beraten. Dazu kann zum Beispiel die Beratung zu für Sie relevanten Therapiemaßnahmen zählen.
Ich arbeite interdisziplinär mit Fachärzten zusammen. Dabei behandle ich Patienten, die von ihren Ärzten eine Heilmittelverordnung erhalten haben und empfehle bei schwerwiegenden Problemen Fachärzte.
Aufgrund der ärztlichen Verordnung führe ich medizinische Maßnahmen an Ihren Füßen durch. Dies geschieht stets unter strenger Einhaltung von Hygienebedingungen.
